Candy Dandy

School's finally out for the semester, so I finally have some time to myself for art.

The phrase 'candy dandy' popped into my head the other day and I couldn't resist doing something with it.

Wanted to do a bold, cutesy style and it wound up more Lisa Frank than expected.

Island Practice Paint

Wanted to branch out a bit and try something I don't do often.  I need to start getting better at environments and scenery, and I gotta start sometime.  I got a little rushed toward the end, but overall I'm pretty happy with it.

Runner Sketches

Preliminary drawing for an illustration I'm working on, and an attempt at establishing the basic planes of the figure.  The sketch has since been worked on and improved.

Steven Universe

Got pumped to draw some Steven Universe fan art after watching the pilot.  This show is going to be so good, I can't wait!  I want to draw the girls, too.

A fresh start

Hey, finally rebooting this thing.  Let's get the ball rolling, shall we?  I'll start with some sketches from earlier in the year I've only recently had the chance to scan.
Here's a character I've been developing, her name is Babs. (her real name is Rebecca but she hates it)

I've been going through an alpaca phase lately, so I've been drawing them a lot.
